I'm the founder and CEO of Intellitics, Inc., a participation startup based in San José, CA. We develop Zilino, a new web app for online consultations. Zilino (http://zilino.com) enables organizations to engage their constituents in collaborative problem solving and decision making, online dialogue and deliberation. An alpha version launched in April of 2010.

In 2009, we started ParticipateDB, a collaborative catalogue for tools for participation and the world's most comprehensive directory of its kind. The site is maintained by a growing list of contributors from around the world.

In 2010, we started This Week in Participation (TWiP), an internet radio show on participation.

In an effort to spread those sunny Silicon Valley startup vibes, I founded Web Monday back in 2005, a community of local meetups in Germany, Austria and Switzerland about all things web. Today, Web Monday is available in 40+ locations. Follow #webmontag on Twitter to see what people are saying.
