As the Social Media Director you will serve as a leader on the Social Media Club (SMC) social media team and oversee all social media managers and channels. You will work alongside another SMC social media director to promote the SMC brand, maintain current strategies, hire and train teammates, and stay up to date with best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee social media strategies for all platforms
- Support rollout and maintenance of core social media management technologies
- Lead SMC’s global social media team in holistically engaging our community
- Train and mentor new hires
- Manage intern program (occasionally)
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of social media strategy and execution
- Flexibility within daily activities to take care of requests that require immediate response
Desired Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience driving social media campaigns across Facebook, G+, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest
- Familiarity with Hootsuite
