With the 2011 Tweet Drive results in, we’re excited to announce more than 650+ toys were donated between the nine of our Social Media Club chapters who participated in this annual holiday toy drive to benefit their local Toys for Tots.

With dozens of Tweet Drive events hosted throughout December 2011, the organization raised more than 4,200 toys and $2,000 in donations to Blue Key.
We already can’t wait to make Tweet Drive 2012 bigger and better with the help of more of our SMC chapters across the globe.
We spoke with Founder of Tweet Drive, Harrison Kratz who shared some of their 2012 goals, “I’m hoping to grow Tweet Drive to 75 cities across the world and be present in Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia. I would love to work with SMC from the beginning of our planning in order to reach our global goals and build an incredible community throughout the world. I’d like to increase our toy collections to 6,000+.”
You can count us in for 2012, it was a great partnership which brought together our active social media communities but gave them a reason to give back during the holidays.
