Social Media Club is thrilled to announce a partnership with Facebook! This new partnership was curated to provide all SMC members with the opportunity to attend a workshop with Facebook and afterward receive a scholarship to complete the Facebook Certified Community Manager exam! All at no cost to you, our members!
Join SMC and Kara Cronin from Facebook on Wednesday, June 30, for a hands-on workshop to learn more about the new Facebook Certified Community Manager scholarship opportunity. After attending this workshop, you’ll receive an exam voucher to become certified.
This event will be happening twice on June 30 to accommodate our members’ schedules across the globe. The two times available are:
7:30 AM – 8:30 AM Pacific Daylight Time
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time
ADMISSION
This workshop and certification event is FREE for all SMC members. In addition to the workshop, you’ll also receive a scholarship voucher to take the Facebook Certified Community Manager Exam.
This exam voucher you’ll receive for FREE just for attending is valued at $99! You must redeem your exam voucher before December 31, 2021.

Kara Cronin, Community Manager, Community Partnerships at Facebook, will be joining us to share more about this certification opportunity.
Kara leads both the Facebook Certified Community Managers Group and the Facebook Community Manager Certification Learning Group on Facebook.
Kara Cronin has been passionate about bringing communities together since she was a kid, and has been doing so professionally since 2014. Prior to Facebook, Kara built and scaled communities for brands and organizations in media (theSkimm), mental health (The Shine App), and higher education. She has driven online and offline community experiences that support a variety of business functions from user acquisition and growth to grassroots marketing and product development. Now at Facebook, Kara gets to support and empower fellow community leaders through her work every day while leading the community experience for Facebook Certified Community Managers.
