You are currently viewing LinkedIn Page Growth Strategy for 2026

I grew a LinkedIn page by 22% in 2 years. My method is somehow so obvious but also somehow surprising.

I volunteer for Social Media Club. The largest, longest running social media professionals organization in the world. We needed a better LinkedIn presence.

I started by trying to keep up with content creation, thought leadership, event creation. None of it worked.

And then I remembered the point of LinkedIn: people want jobs.

Then, LinkedIn rolled out a comment impressions feature. I immediately noticed that the views on my comments were doubling the views on my own posts.

So, I decided to lean into jobs. The community has a lot to offer, but this is the vertical that makes the most sense for the platform.

Now, I comment “Paging Social Media Club [insert city]”, swap accounts, like the post, repost, and comment on my own comment.

Hiring managers see the mention. Applicants see the mention. Both comments get 2x the views as the repost.

Now, people DM the account asking us to share the jobs. People post praising the accounts as a lucrative place to find jobs.

We focused. We (I hate to use this phrase) “niched down”. We used an updated strategy that the platform was signaling they wanted us to use.

And we succeeded.
